2004 : 17 "Against Pollution" by The Mountain Goats

I don't care whether the song tells a true story or not. I care about how the song is sung and how that singing perfectly fits the emotion of having gone through something like this. It is flat and hollow, like someone not trying to deal with having to kill someone to save their own life. I love the way how the flatness works so well. It is something I would have never thought of before hearing this song.
